Sharm El Sheikh Is one among the most popular cities in Egypt which offers a blend of history, outdoor adventures, water activities, and fantastic dining options.
From discovering the enchanting Mountains of Mount Sinai to snorkeling by the coast, here’s my curated list of the most delightful experiences in Sharm El Sheikh.

3. Hike Mount Sinai
For those who enjoy nature, consider joining a hiking tour to Mt Sinai. Most excursions begin at night, allowing hikers to arrive at the summit by sunrise. This scenic trek is often referred to as the Moses Hike because it is thought to be the location where Moses witnessed the burning bush and received the Ten Commandments. I would describe this hike as quite demanding.

4. Explore Africa’s Most Gorgeous Cafe: Farsha Mountain Lounge.
Although Farsha Mountain Lounge wasn’t part of my original itinerary for Sharm El Sheikh, it’s definitely a must-see. The owner, an artist and environmentalist, constructed the venue using reclaimed wood and materials. The decor is incredibly eclectic, and I can confidently say there’s no other place quite like it.
The lounge truly comes to life at sunset, but if you want a good spot, be prepared to arrive almost three hours early. Once the crowd builds, they may even turn people away at the entrance. We observed that groups of men without women were occasionally not allowed entry at certain times.
Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for enjoying coffee, socializing with friends, and capturing lovely photos. They also offer hookah if that interests you.
