Rose Hill Transport, also known as RHT Bus Services Ltd, has been a bus service provider for over 60 years. From 1952 to 1954, it operated under one management. During this time, buses were individually owned by different directors.
In 1954, the company was formally incorporated. It became the first bus company on the island. This is why its route numbers are 1, 1A, 1B, and so on.
As of January 1st, 2009, Rose Hill Transport was restructured. Currently, RHT Holding Ltd is the holding company for five new corporate entities. These entities are RHT Bus Services Ltd., RHT Investments Ltd., RHT Properties Ltd., RHT Ventures Ltd., and RHT Fund Management Ltd.
Rose Hill Transport company has a wide range of buses in their list. Most of them are Yutong, Isuzu, Tata and Ashok Leyland.
These buses come in two different class depending on the Amenities which available on a particular bus. Their two classes are Standard and Express class.
Air Conditioner is only available on Express buses which have 2 by 2 Reclining seats. The standard class does not have Air conditioner and have 2 by 3 seating arrangement.AX
