Mkhonza Transport (BJM Coaches) transport company was formed in 1998 and operated as a Taxi Operator.

Its emphasis was on providing transportation to the communities of Alexandra, Halfway House, Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge and Tembisa.

The formation of Mkonza Transport was brought about by the need of its owner to become self supporting and the need to be organized in the management of growth and development.

This led to the formalization in 2001 as Mkonza Transport Services CC focusing on providing transport to corporates/ tourist groups and local travelers with various modes of transportation throughout Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces. Mkonza transport services is a Level 2 BBB-EE contributor QSE assessed.
